Taylor Thomas is a Certified Financial Education Instructor (CFEI®), financial coach, licensed life insurance agent, and seasoned accounting professional with more than a decade of experience at Fortune 500 companies. As the founder of Journey Through Finance, Taylor is dedicated to empowering individuals and communities with the knowledge and tools to take control of their money. She specializes in transforming complex financial concepts into clear, actionable strategies that help people gain clarity, confidence, and long-term stability in their financial lives.

Her career spans senior accounting roles at organizations such as AMB Group, Mercedes-Benz USA, and TTG Forestry Services, where she managed multimillion-dollar budgets, streamlined financial processes, and led high-performing teams. Taylor’s corporate expertise is complemented by her work as a Money Coach with Money Canvas, where she delivers personalized coaching and facilitates guided financial conversations that reduce money stress and build sustainable financial habits. She has also served as Director of Finance for the Black Marketers Association of America, helping the organization achieve financial stability and long-term sustainability.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Taylor is mission-driven. She has designed and facilitated workshops, coaching programs, and community-based initiatives that focus on closing financial literacy gaps—particularly within the Black community. Her leadership style blends education, accountability, and empowerment, fostering safe learning environments where participants feel supported and motivated to take action. She has a proven track record of building and scaling financial literacy programs, creating culturally relevant curriculum, and mentoring professionals to grow into leadership roles.
